Adding Single or Multiple Contacts

You can add your contacts into your Address Book three ways:

  1. Single Adds - enter manually one contact at a time
  2. Multi Adds - center manually or cut-n-paste several records at one time
  3. Import from a file - for importing from a file see Importing Contacts

Single Adds:

  1. Click on Address Book from the Nav Bar and click "Add New Contact(s)"
  2. Input the contact information - Email ID is only required
  3. Active is checked by default but you can uncheck this field and still add contacts.  This field lets you exclude this contact from sending them an invitation without removing them from your list.  You can change the "Active" status any time.
  4. If contact(s) already exists: Select the options available if the contact already exists i.e. "Replace With" or "Ignore" new information.
  5. Select Email List to add contact to: - You can select one, many or none.  If you choose "Create New List" then input the name
  6. Click the "Add Contact(s)" button. 

Multi Adds:

  1. Click on Address Book from the Nav Bar and click "Add New Contact(s)"
  2. Click on the "Switch to" icon to switch to the "Multi Add Mode."
  3. Type or "Cut-n-Paste" the contact data directly into the input box using this format: 
    • Each field must be separated by a comma.
    • Each contact must be separated by a line break (hard return).
    • Each line must have an Email ID
      Here's an example of the format.  If you are using any of the 6 custom fields available their labels will be shown as examples for you on this screen  e.g. Email Address, First Name, Last Name, Reports To, EMP ID, CustomData3, CustomData4, CustomData5, CustomData
