Edit Your Survey Style

Edit Your Survey Style:  also see Styles General Overview

Once you have created your Survey Style you can Edit any of the following sections below and to customize how your survey will look when your respondents take your survey.  Also see Create a Style

How to:

  1. Click on the Styles tab
  2. Click on the Edit Styles icon
  3. Make changes on the Edit Styles page (see below for more detail)

Styles Name:  Alpha/Numeric 55 Character Max

Active:  Only Active Styles will appear in the Survey Options General/Survey Style dropdown menu.

Shared:  You can share your styles to other sub users in your Multi-User accounts

Use Logo:  Check the box to include your logo on your survey. 

- Use the Image Manager to add logos/images (.jpeg or.gif format only) - When you insert a new image the file will be displayed in its correct size so that you can confirm the correct image.  The image will distort the page - click to shrink the image and remove the page distortion once you have confirmed you have the correct image.  The image for the Logo will only be displayed on your "main" pages of your survey - the image will not be displayed on your Greeting Page or Thank You Pages.  To add your logo/image on those pages see "Survey Start" and "Survey Completion" on your Survey Options.

Logo Alignment:  Choose where you want the Logo to appear (left/center/right)

Survey Alignment:  Choose how you want the Survey to appear in the brower (left/center/right)

Make this this the Default:  Checking this box will make this Style the default Style whenever you create new surveys.

The Font Selection area lets you format the different areas of your survey text (e.g. Question Text/Additional Text ect.) As you apply the Font/Color/Bold/Italic/Size to each item in the Font Selection the changes will be applied to the "Sample" text on the right.

Font Family:  Choose the font name from the drop down list.

Color Picker:  Double click on the square box to bring up the "Color Picker" to be applied to the text

Bolds your text

Italicies your text

Sample:  Reflects your changes applied to "Sample" for each item

 

Matrix Settings -   This formats the color for your "Matrix" type questions using the "Color Picker"

Matrix Top Color:  Double click on the "Color Picker" to apply color to the top row.

Matrix Color 1:  Double click on the "Color Picker" to apply color to alternating rows starting with the first row.

Matrix Color 2:  Double click on the "Color Picker" to apply color to alternating rows starting with the 2nd row.

Progress Bar

Progress Bar:  Double click on the "Color Picker" to apply color to the progress bar.  Note there are two color pickers here.

Backgrounds and Border

Survey Background Color:  Double click on the "Color Picker" to apply color to the survey background.

Page Background Color:  Double click on the "Color Picker" to apply color to the page background - this area is outside of the survey page.

Show Survey border:  Yes/No

Border Width:  Select the width 1-5

Border Color:  Double click on the "Color Picker" to apply color to the border.

The Header is applied to the top of every page of your survey.  Using the Text Editor you can insert text and/or images.

 

 The Footer is applied to the bottom of every page of your survey.  Using the Text Editor you can insert text and/or images.

Navigational Buttons:  The style of buttons you choose here are applied to the bottom of every page of your survey.  They allow your respondents to move forwards and backwards when taking your survey.  Choose which style of buttons you want for your survey:

Click the radio button and choose buttons from the dropdown menu

Click the radio button for this option. Enter your "Custom" text into the text boxes which will be formatted to look like the "Custom Buttons" image.

  Click the radio button for this option. Enter your "Custom" text into the text boxes which will be formatted as a "hyperlink"

Click "Cancel" if you do not want to save your changes.

This saves and exits your Style.

This saves and allows you to continue working on your Style.

Preview your Style using our "standard" questions.
