SurveySquare.com, one of today’s leading web-based, self-service survey
applications, is thrilled to add Ducks Unlimited (Ducks.org) to its list of
satisfied customers for survey development, deployment and analysis.
Ducks Unlimited (DU), a non-profit conservation organization, is committed to
maintaining a strong North American waterfowl population through a
comprehensive and highly effective habitat conservation program.
Being a non-profit organization,
cost was a huge motivating factor when DU began evaluating survey software
providers. Yet, the organization still needed a robust platform to assist
in raising extensive funds through auctions and events. SurveySquare provided a
means to evaluate high-demand merchandise most beneficial to each unique event.
“Being a non-profit organization,
information from our field staff is key to developing merchandise that will
generate the returns needed for successful fundraising,” explained Bob Mazgaj,
National Director of Ducks Unlimited Event and Membership Programs.
“Survey Square offers the tools that allow us to put ideas in front of our
staff in a user-friendly format. Survey development is fast and the
analysis is easy to translate.”
DU directors and volunteers work
diligently to conserve wetlands and associated habitats via grassland and
watershed restoration, forest replanting and land acquisition. The
organization also works with private landowners, farmers and ranchers to
improve the agricultural and recreational value of their property and make it
more wildlife-friendly. In some cases, DU purchases property outright to
restore it and improve its value to local wildlife.
“We’re proud to play a small part in
promoting the Ducks Unlimited vision by delivering a cost-effective data
acquisition and management solution,” explains Jay Farr, SurveySquare founder
and designer.
